So how do you run a timeshare title search on real estate that's interval ownership? This is Dave at TitleSearch.com. A timeshare property is a deeded ownership of real estate, just like any other condominium or home, but it's for a specific interval of time to be used each year. And that deeded ownership of a timeshare does have real estate records, it does have a recording, but the title search is done a little differently. It's important to know from a client standpoint what name or what interval is being searched. Otherwise, there'll be, in theory, 52 different deeds for one address, each one for a different week of ownership. So narrowing it down to which week is important. It's also important to realize that some liens and judgments against the building in general or the community may have an effect on that timeshare interval ownership. So if you do have questions about running a timeshare title search or research on an owner of an interval ownership property, you can reach us at our website at title search dot com.
